What’s New

Your members (data subjects) may wish to have the personal data held for them removed. For example, if they don’t agree with you passing their data to us this may result in a request to remove their data from our systems. Your members may also disagree with the accuracy of their data which could lead them to raise a restriction request as they may not want their data to be permanently removed.

When a request is received to remove or restrict data via helpdesk we will anonymise the member’s personal data by replacing the data with the word ‘REMOVED’ for a removal request or 'RESTRICTED' for a restriction request.

Note: A DoB will not have the words RESTRICTED/REMOVED but will be shown as 0000-00-00

The restriction request can be reversed, but you must raise a support request via to request this.

Important Note: If a member raises a restriction or removal request, please take care to ensure that they are not included in any CSV mailing lists that you upload to Digital and Insight. This is your responsibility as a Data Controller.
